Thank you for taking a moment to learn more about the person who will be photographing your baby. I started my newborn photography business, McLelland Photography, nine years ago as a photographer in Oakville, where our dedicated newborn studio is located. I left the corporate world to focus on newborn photography full-time.

I’m also Oakville’s first APNPI-accredited posed newborn photographer. APNPI (Accredited Professional Newborn Photographers International) sets global safety standards for newborn photography, including safe handling, posing, choosing the right light source, and workflow. This credential gives Brampton families confidence. They trust that I photograph their newborn with the highest safety standards.
Over the years, I’ve grown McLelland Photography into a dedicated, full-time newborn studio. I now serve families from Brampton, North Brampton, Castlemore, Mount Pleasant, Credit Valley, and across the GTA.

We design our newborn sessions for babies between 3 days and 6 weeks old.
This age range supports safe posing, sleepy images, and the gentle workflow Brampton families love.

Book your newborn session during your second trimester to secure your preferred date. Our studio offers a limited number of sessions each month.
When choosing your date, select a spot 2–3 weeks after your due date. If you’re scheduling a c-section, choose a date when your baby will still be under 6 weeks old. We schedule sessions this way so we can pose your baby safely and capture the relaxed, sleepy images families love.
If your baby has already arrived or you haven’t booked yet, please reach out. We occasionally have last-minute openings.

Once your baby arrives, we select a new session time within the six-week window.
We’ll guide you through the next steps and ensure everything stays on track.

We follow a strict wellness policy. If you, your baby, or anyone in your household is sick — or if we are — we reschedule your session.
